Thought provoking statement and an interesting flurry of responses! I came across this phrase last week and it really rattled my inner thoughts. Automatically my brain flashed to famous , wealthy and global celebrities profiles (very materialistic!). Jotting down a list of potential suspects I found myself being unable to decide who I would be. Beyonce almost had a yes, then I moved onto Oprah, continued into Coco Chanel, Marta Stewart (minus jail time) and Marilyn Monroe. At first glance this question looks like an easy one to answer, fact is I cannot give you an answer.
Putting the question out to my social networks I had the response from one follower stating that he would be the Hulk. In return he asked what animated/marvel character would I be, and my answer had to reflect my qualities and being. Bloody tough question! I replied Wonder Woman (easy answer I know) but as I simmered my thoughts over this, I honestly could not give a straight answer.
I came back to being me. Honestly this is who I want to be. It’s not the most earth shattering answer but it’s my truth. I want to be me with additional trimmings. These are my goals, abundance, personal happiness, career motivations catered with success and fun! They will all come in time. The famous women above all have traits, characteristics and success that I admire. You can take admiration from a little piece of each of them and call it into your own life. We are the leaders of our own destiny and it’s all there for the taking!
The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.
Would you want to be someone else?

It’s not really something that I have ever put too much thought into… When I was younger it was probably Roy Keane or Jack O’Shea (Kerry GAA) from a purely sporting point of view.
It would have to be Yuri Gagarin – imagine the thrill (and legacy) of being the first man in space.
Comming in a close second would be Howard Hughes – a brilliant pioneer of aviation, with an unquenchable & daredevil spirit.
[...] Browning posted “If you could be someone else, who would you be?”. I recommend you all read it, it’s a great post. I decided I would post a similar post, but [...]
Love the article – and I have to say I adore the sentiment of wanting to be the best version of yourself – I was once asked at interview – What one thing would I change about my life – I replied “nothing” – this led to a very interesting and lively debate. My point, like you was that essentially I was happy with myself and my life – fundamental change/ regret would upset this balance! This is not to say I cant do with some tweaking and learn lessons from others!
